Lorry driver (UK)

We are seeking a experienced Class 1 lorry driver to transport flowers and plants on five overnight journeys per week. The primary route covers Stanford-le-Hope to Bristol, with occasional trips to other locations as required. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving at night and values consistency. You will be driving a temporary left-handed Dutch truck and earning a competitive gross salary of £50,000 per year. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct five overnight journeys per week, start around midnight primarily to Bristol-area.
• Occasionally travel to other designated addresses as required.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of the orders from customers.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fust and fuel.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues immediately.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Help where necessary (in consultation) in the unit.
• Assistance / flexibility in case of problems.

Requirements:

• Valid UK lorry driving licence (Class C or higher).
• Proven experience as a lorry driver.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to handle long hours of driving.
• Good communication skills.

• Gross salary of £4200 per month all in.
